First, let me start by apologizing. Second, Happy Halloween!
My excuses for being so indolent are few, and not very good either, so I wont tell you what they are. Just know that I feel really bad about it. Fortunately nothing that exciting has been going on lately so you didn't miss anything. Lets see, the last time I posted was the week after my birthday and since then I have taken on a new responsibility at the Sentinel and I have done nothing for Halloween. The new addition to my job is Classified Pagination, now if any of you actually knows what that is, your as pathetic as I am. But here is a quick summery. I take all the classified "liner" and "display" ads that are scheduled to run the next day and I put them all in the classified section of the paper and then I print it to this thing called a 'neg' and then it goes to press. Not that exciting really. The challenging part is learning all the database and layout software, but I seem to be picking that up pretty quick. Because of this new job that I have I am working until 8 or 10 on Friday nights. Consequently this means that I will not be able to make it to the Bushart thanksgiving dinner this year which is the Friday after thanksgiving day. Trust me, I am extremely upset about this but do to the busy holiday season at the paper I can't take any vacation in October/December and I guess I wasn't paying attention when I was told what date it would be in July. Here I am talking about The Holiday season 3 days after Halloween. Here is where you would all label me the hypocrite that I am, just yesterday I was complaining about all the Christmas ads on the television and the Christmas tree's I was seeing in stores. Well, in the ture fashion of 21st century publicity....
