Why I am an HSSV Volunteer?

I decided to volunteer at the Humaine Society of Santa Clara. I haven't done any actual volunteering yet because I am still in training. While filling out my personal infomation I was asked "Why do you volunteer?" I wanted to share what I wrote with you:

I am a volunteer because animals will devote their lives to us unconditionally when they are given the proper care, and sometimes they don’t even demand that. I can’t imagine my life without the animals that have been a part of it, as a child and as an adult. All those animals that have been dedicated to my cause, whether it be climbing a tall mountain, protecting me from danger or fetching me that ball over, and over, and over again. Animals deserve to be given a place in our cities and in our lives because we take so much from them by building our homes, our businesses and our roadways. I want to help build a well balanced environment where all our animals can be healthy and cared for, wild and domestic alike.

Web Redesign

I started redesigning my web site at the end of last year and I now feel like its good enough to “launch”. The design is really simple, although I liked how original my comic strip design was last time the new site is much more dynamic. Enjoy. www.mightymouse.org
