We're Engaged

Andrew and I are engaged. We had actually been talking about it since February. He has never really liked the social pressure society puts on people to marry so I was pretty surprised when he brought it up. Well, in February he asked what my thoughts were about marriage and things like that. I told him that if he asked me to marry him I would say yes without a doubt, but that if he wasn't ready that was fine too, because I really enjoy just being with him. He thought about it long and hard I guess because in July he asked me to marry him, but we decided that we didn't want to tell anyone until I had a ring. When I got back from my backpacking trip on Tuesday (8/21/07) he bought me dinner, had brownies made and brought out champagne and the ring. He got down on one knee and asked me to marry him and put the ring on my finger. And that's it!

Annual Flinstones backpacking trip

Annual Flintstones backpacking pictures are up. This year it was just Randy, Greg, Sadie and I. We didn't see a single cloud in the sky, the weather was perfect but the water was very low. Also, I hiked up Hells Mountain with Sadie this year while Greg and Randy stayed behind, in fact these pictures were posted while they are still out there. All in all it was a calm trip. Oh! The Duggar's had another baby!
Their 17th child: Jennifer Danielle Duggar was born August 2, 2007, at 10:01AM. She weighed 8 lbs 8 oz and is 21 inches long.
