Grammy's 60th surpise birthday

Well, I spent my last two free weekends working on Grammy's surprise party. It went really well in case you were wondering. She was totally surprise and we had an excellent turn out. My dad did a rough head count of 25 at the peek of the party and we had some family come out that I had never met. I will post when some pictures get posted, I am counting on Dale and Beth to have them up first. Come on Dale, what do you do in your free time anyway? Off to work I go! Tomorrow is my first day. I am both nervous and excited. I will let you know how that goes laterz.

I got the job at Locomotive. I will be the new Administrative Assistant for the GM and the Business Director starting September 26th. That means that I have a full week off starting now. It's going to be really nice and I will write about all my adventures next weekend. That's all for now folks.

In this hectic time in my life I am finding it hard to write. Not that I typically have a waterfall of words coming from my fingertips, but I think you know what I mean. Drew didn’t get the job at CyberSource :( So sad. Today is my second interview with LocoMotive and I am confident that I will get the job. I have been told by my would-be boss that things look “promising” for me. Yay!

My Birthday was on Friday; and it went pretty well too. Got loads of calls and cards from those that love me! Most of the morning and part of the afternoon I hung around the house being lazy. Then my friend Liz came by and made us some brownies. Yum. After that Drew and Liz and I all went out to Thai. We had a really good dish there, but for the life of me I can’t remember what it was. Broccoli Chicken or Garlic Chicken… Liz, do you remember? That night Liz and I met up with my friends from Santa Cruz (Ken, Paul and Pam) at Dave and Busters in San Jose. This is a 21 and over arcade. It was pretty fun. Liz and I kicked some Skeeball butt! We got a Dave and Busters soup mug to prove it.

I received an email form Wilma yesterday. She said: “Christmas (has been moved) back to Sonora this year. It will be on Monday, December 26. Please put it on your calendar.”

Also, another reminder, Thanksgiving will be the SATURDAY AFTER Thanksgiving, November 26 in San Anselmo. I haven’t decided if Sadie will be going with us this year. After her wave of independence last year I don’t know if it would be appropriate.
