I wish that I could say that last 4 months has been a whirl wind of entertainment... but it hasn't. They have been filled with the ever changing mottoes of "just 5 more months" or "just 4 more months" and "just 3.5 more months", I think you probably get the drift by now. What, you may ask, are we counting down too? Well sometimes I ask myself that same question, and to tell you the truth I am not really sure. Maybe that is why it is so exciting. There are two major things that happen in "just 2.5 more months", the first is Drew is graduating. I should clarify something here, when I say 'exciting' what I really mean is 'nerve racking'. It's 'exciting' that he is walking into the great unknown, it's 'exciting' that he has no idea where he is going to get a job. Well, I guess I shouldn't speak for him, 'eh? The second is that my lease is up in the middle of June. As you can imagine it is very 'exciting' to be moving and finding a new place.

Work is good. I have moved to the Classified Department full time now. I work on the phones most of the day and help customers place their classified ads in the paper. I build the ads and bill the customers and at the end of the day I lay the ads out in the paper so they look all pretty. I do some data base entry and I am learning how to do linage reports. The commute is getting grueling. It helps that I have a commuting buddy, but it still gets old fast.

Sadie is…. Well, Sadie! She has had much “going on’s” in the last bit. You know how people always brag about there kids being smart? “Bobby is just so smart, he was reading See Spot Run before he was 3” and “Jane is so intelligent. Her teacher said she is working on collage level math and she is only in 1st grade, were so proud.” Well, I am not proud that Sadie is smart. It gets her into too much trouble. She has learned how to open my car doors. Yes, that’s right; she can open the car door from the inside of the car. This was rather shocking when I came back from Christmas dinner and my car door was wide open, rain was pouring in and Sadie was no where to be found. Well, actually she was found - 7 blocks away in a nice warm home, all dry and safe with lots of people around her. Sadie wanted me to thank Linda for being smart enough to call the SPCA and ask if anyone had found our cute little mutt, and also Bob for giving the kind people a bottle of wine. Everyone else who was looking for her in the rain… she laughs at you. She also had a minor surgery to remove that plate that was put into her leg. As the vet said “We now have a $3000 key chain”.

I know you all will be very said with this ends, but one last thing. I wanted to say Aloha to my Dad because in a couple of hours he is going to be boarding a plane to Hawaii. So everyone say “Aloha!”
