I just got back from a short weekend with Drew. I arrived Saturday afternoon for a six person Magic draft that went on for about 4 or 5 hours. It was a lot of fun because I was able to play with a couple of people that I had never met before and a couple of other people that I already knew to be cool. After that Drew and I reveled in the marvelous invention of TIVO by watching a couple of episodes of Family Guy, then I passed out while he continued to watch TV. We started the next day off with breakfast (his treat), and then stopped by Dave's house before we went back to his house. Here I would like to inject that his dog Magic is soooo cute! Sadie I love you, but Magic can fetch better.
Now I am home and looking forward to sleeping. Not much planed for the up coming week but next weekend is the camping trip. Woho! Also, for those of you involved, it looks like Rando and I are planning a trip to Flinstones in mid September. We don't have too much spare time so we are thinking a 4 day trip. Contact me and let me know what you think.

This would be a more reasonable amount of time between posts. Funny that when my life is at it's craziest, and therefore would be more interesting to read about, I don't have the time to tell you about it. This week was actually a little slow. Shawna went to Disneyland last Saturday and got back this Wednesday. From what I hear from her and Chris it sounds like that had a lot of fun. They were able to see our friends Kelly and Lex who both live down that way. All the time they were gone I just hung out at the apartment or went to work, nothing really special. The boys apartment in Santa Cruz in starting to look a bit better. They have the extra bed out of the way and the whiteboard is up, which is important because with 4 boys that's where a lot of the information flow is coming from.
Now that I am done writing about everyone else....
Mary came to visit me on Wednesday, which was a treat
---especially after all the alone time with Shawna being gone. We had fun cooking a meal that ended up being way too salty, and she made 'little improvements' to my house. I found out on Friday that I get to go camping on the weekend of the 31st. I am really excited because I haven't been able to do anything remotely outdoorsy since Sadie broke here leg last August (see very first post for that story). We are going to French Meadows; although I am not exactly sure which campsite we will be at.
That's all for now folks.

Talk about a long time! Shesh. So here is what has been going on. Shawna (my cousin) now has her bachelor’s degree in Astrophysics. There is a small matter of finishing the thesis but what is that compared to the four years at school, right? My friend Nick is in the same boat as Shawna. Kelly moved back down south after graduating from Anthropology. I got a cold around the last time that I posted and I only get one of those a year, if that, but no graduation for me *sigh*. That might be because I haven’t put in my dues but who’s counting? Drew has moved back to Folsom to live with his mom for the summer, which makes me very sad because I don't get to see him as often. On the other hand it is good because I get to see his dog, Magic, sometimes. I have finished the move, very cool, and it's nice to have that done. Sadie has discovered cats down the way so she sits on the deck and watches them most of the time. No graduation for Sadie either. I am still commuting over the hill for work, which is becoming quite tiresome, but I am working on that. This years Ice Cream Social at my Grandpa's house was good for the most part. Of-course yummy ice cream was there, but so where the bee's and Dewight got bit by one of them. It turned out OK though. Good food and good conversation... Well, there was this one bit where Bob told us some of his ER stories. I'll not get into that.
It just dawned on me, as Sadie took a two second brake from the cats to peek her head around the corner and check on me: My fascination with the computer must be to her as her fascination with the cats is to me. I just sit here all day, staring at the screen, stopping only to check on her or get food. She must think me so strange.
