Last Tuesday it rained; but this Tuesday it was 94 degrees in SC – that’s hot! It did allow us to go biking though, much unlike last Tuesday. Jon came this week so that made three of us (including Daryl and I). We did almost 15 miles because we went on the ocean trail, which was quite breeze by 7:30. Wednesday night we decided that our move-out date was going to be the 25th of June, which seems like so little time for everything that we need to do. It seems even closer when I realize that we probably wont ever get to see everyone together again, and I’m gonna’ miss them. Last night Drew came over and Shawna, Chris, Drew and I all played magic way too late.

Thursday was Shawna's Birthday. Kelly, Nick, Dave, Raf and I drove to Macaroni Grill in SJ for the birthday dinner. We met Chris, Joe and Shawna there. After dinner we spent a couple of hours at Chris' house, playing video games and magic. Liz showed up about 30 min before we left, but Joe still got to tell the story of how he purposed to Liz. Got home at 12:40, which is late for a work night (especially Thursday) but well worth it. Saturday I worked normal hours and then I just relaxed around the house for the day and Kelly came over later that night. Sunday Kelly and I went to Seacliff beach with Sadie. I forgot my sunscreen so now I have a really nasty sunburn and I can think of nothing better than bathing in tub of Aloe Jell. After the four hour walk on the beach we went to Capitola Village and Kelly bought me an Arizona Iced Tea, which was rather good considering I don't like tea. After that we went and sat on the train bridge and watched the city and the ocean for a while. Sunday night I watched a Movie called 'The Hours' Which I thought was a bit out there with the plot, but the acting was excellent. Today I washed clothes, watched 'Seabiscut', and moved my car more times than I would like to admit because I am too lazy to buy a permit.

Bought a car this weekend, and it is the focus hatchback. I guess I should start with the beginning though. On Saturday I postponed my trip to GV so that Shawna, Chris and I could all drive up together. Played a magic draft that went much better than my first one. I used a green, blue deck that focused around some flying creatures and some counters. It was Shawna, Chris, Nick, Drew (who I have never met before but I enjoyed meeting him) and I at Nacho's house. Lisa showed up too but did school stuff the whole time. So we got to GV at 12:00 that night and I brought Tuvok in, he just loves to cuddle. The next morning was when I bought the car; it took me two hours, with my dad's help of course. It is a 2004 Ford Focus ZX3, Silver, 130HP, 2.3L, Dual Cam with independent front and rear suspension (which makes the ride real smooth). The only thing that it's missing is electric windows, mirrors and keyless entry. All that will have to wait till next time I guess. The size is really nice though. It is shorter than most sedans and it seats five people and Sadie all at the same time. It actually has a surprising amount of space. After that I went back to the house and had lunch with my mom’s my brother (Justin) and Sierra. Then we took a drive in the car and after that we watched a movie – Under the Tuscan Sun – which most of us liked. I drove the car back Sunday night watched movies all day Monday. Didn’t get to go biking yesterday because it was raining and my bike needs a tune.

Went to San Jose to see a Nintendo cover band last night. They are called "The Advantage", it was fun for three reasons. (1) I got to get out of the house, and even though I always say I don't mind staying in, I forgot what it was like to go out. (2) I got to meet Joe and Liz who I have heard much about but only talk with briefly at the Ren Fair last year. (3) The music was awesome. Work was hectic, but then it is Friday - well Saturday now. And I just got done playing lots of fun card games with my friends: Paul, Andrew, Joel and Raf.

Hung out with the family on Easter. Had hamburgers - not my favorite - but we did get to have those really yummy baked potato chips and I got to take the extras home. Monday was James birthday; he is 20 now. We got to play some magic and spend 140 on grocery’s and candy at the store Sunday morning. Soooo much candy. Almost bought a car on Monday too. I really liked that car; it was a black focus - manual. It wasn't the hatch back, but it was cute. Drove back from GV on Tuesday and went biking. I really need a tune up. And today I just watched a bunch of movies and later I will probably go shopping at cost-co. Joy.

Last night Shawna, Chris, Sadie, Nick and I rented a couple of movies; Secondhand Lions, Something’s Got to Give, Intolerable Cruelty and Under the Tuscan Sun. We only watched ‘Secondhand Lions’ and ‘Something’s Got to Give’ last night. Kelly even stopped by for a little while. Well, both movies are good and I would recommend them. Tonight I watched ‘Intolerable Cruelty’ by myself, I don't know about that one. It keeps you so on edge the whole movie. One minute you’re thinking 'oh, what a jerk' and the next it's 'how could she do that to him' then it's 'they were totally made for each other, why can't they see that?' It’s interesting though, I will give it that.

This weekend was cool. Friday I went Japanese with my friends*. We crammed - and I mean crammed - into a room for just our group. Then on Sunday Raf and I started off at Seacliff State Beach and then meet everyone** at De Laveaga Disc Golf course. That was fun, and right before I lost one of the three Frisbees that we had I was doing very well. And to finish the day off Kelly, Nick, Sadie and I all went hiking down the ravine near my house. When we got home we had ticks all over us, and poor Sadie, she had three that we had to pull out. Well, to top the whole weekend off Kelly, Sadie and I all went hiking in Big Basin (near hwy 1). It was so nice, with all the flowers blooming. But we did have to sneak Sadie in and then hide from the rangers a couple of times, but other than that it was very nice. *Me, Alex, Brent, Alden, Andrew, Hector, Joel and Raf **Me, Raf, Joel, Paul, Andrew, Katie and Sadie
